Rosecliffe Spencer Choir perform at VE Day 80th Anniversary Commemoration

We are incredibly proud of the Rosecliffe Spencer Choir, who recently took part in a very special event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Held at the historic Abbey Circus Air Raid Shelter, the choir delivered a touching performance that honoured the strength and sacrifice of those who lived through the Second World War.

It was a moment filled with reflection and gratitude, as the children sang beautifully in a setting that holds deep historical significance. Their voices helped bring the past to life and reminded everyone in attendance of the importance of remembering the generations who came before us.

The event was organised by Rushcliffe Borough Council and attended by members of the local community, including Cabinet members from the council and representatives from Notts TV. We’re thrilled Rosecliffe pupils were able to be part of such a meaningful occasion.

Thank you to everyone who supported the choir – it was a truly memorable day for Rosecliffe Spencer and everyone who experienced the day.
