Our Apprenticeships
The Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Level 3
Spencer Apprenticeships are pleased to offer the Teaching Assistant (TA) Level 3 Apprenticeship. We are offering schools this exclusive training opportunity to help grow members of their teams to take the next step in their professional journey. This is a bespoke programme designed by curriculum experts to ensure the CPD needs of schools are met. We are proud of our offer which includes a focus on SEND and literacy with expert facilitators supporting our teaching and learning offer.
This is an 18-month programme with 2 cohort start dates through the year (January and September). This is open to new and existing employees, we also offer support with recruitment.

The Teacher Apprenticeship
The programme sees schools employ Teacher Apprentices and utilise apprenticeship funding for initial teacher training (ITT). The apprentice will achieve QTS and then their End-Point Assessment.

Early Intervention Practitioner Apprenticeship - lEVEL 4
Spencer Apprenticeships are pleased to offer the Early Intervention Practioner (EIP) Level 4 Apprenticeship. The course duration is up to 14 months, for both primary and Secondary schools and consists of blended learning of face to face delivery and online learning.
At Spencer Apprenticeships, our Level 4 Early Intervention Practitioner Apprenticeship is designed to strengthen your school’s ability to provide proactive support for families in safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, and pastoral care.
Delivered by education sector experts, this programme equips staff with the skills to make a real impact—helping students thrive while reducing barriers to learning.
Not only does this apprenticeship enhance early intervention strategies, but it also serves as a pathway into social work, offering valuable career development opportunities for your team.
This is open to all colleagues who have been within the role for up to 2 years, we can also support with recruitment.
Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Level 5
At Spencer Apprenticeships, we’re taking Teaching Assistant training to the next level. Our Level 5 Specialist TA Practitioner Apprenticeship is designed to enhance your school’s capacity for targeted intervention and learner-focused support, ensuring every student receives the help they need to succeed. This programme runs for up to 24 months and is focused on both Primary and Secondary learners and we will be holding one cohort per year, starting in November 2025, and consists of blended learning of face to face delivery and online learning
