Staff Spotlight: Celebrating Kayleigh Beers' outstanding contribution to family learning
Spencer Academies Trust is delighted to celebrate Kayleigh Beers from Portland Spencer Academy, who has been recognised as ‘Learning Support Assistant of the Year’ at the Nottingham Community and Family Learning Awards.
Kayleigh received the award in recognition of her dedication to developing high-quality courses and educational opportunities for parents and families, with a particular focus on supporting the emotional and social needs of children.
Throughout the course, Kayleigh played a vital role in supporting parents, attending sessions to offer guidance, encouragement and a listening ear. Her willingness to help wherever needed and her commitment to creating a welcoming, supportive environment helped parents feel comfortable and able to engage with the learning.
Kayleigh’s dedication and positive approach have made a real difference to the families taking part. Her contribution reflects the importance of building strong relationships with parents and providing opportunities that help families feel supported and empowered.
