  • Rushcliffe, Hilton & Glenbrook in Energy Sparks Top 10 National Scoreboard

    Rushcliffe Spencer, Hilton Spencer and Glenbrook Spencer have been recognised for their inspiring sustainability efforts to help tackle climate change and conserve energy usage in school, ranking in Energy Sparks’ Top 10 schools nationally. An extra spotlight goes to Rushcliffe Spencer for also ranking #1 on the East Midlands scoreboard!

    The academies have been busy over the last academic year with a series of school-wide projects, working hard to demonstrate their approaches to reducing energy consumption and promoting a culture of sustainability within the school community.

  • Outstanding GCSE Results achieved across Spencer secondaries

    Spencer Academies Trust are delighted to announce another year of excellent GCSE results across its 8 secondary schools today with 71% of entries achieving a grade 4 or above in English and Maths and 51% a grade 5 or above, both of which are higher than the 2022-23 national average.

  • Spencer students celebrate exceptional A-Level Results

    Spencer Academies Trust are thrilled to announce the remarkable A-Level results achieved by students across the Spencer family of schools today with 27% of students achieving grades A*-A and 55% grades A*-B.

    The number of students awarded grades AAB or higher, including in at least 2 facilitating subjects, has further improved on last year’s performance, rising to 22.3%, and surpassing the 2022-23 national average. The average grade (B-) and average points score (36.29) are also both above the 2022-23 national average.

  • Rushcliffe Spencer celebrate tenth year of Esperanza Festival

    Rushcliffe Spencer Academy celebrated the 10th anniversary of its ‘Esperanza’ festival in the summer term, raising money for the School of Hope in Jocotenango, Guatemala. Thanks to the fantastic effort of students, staff and the wider community, the academy raised £3,900 this year - a new record! This brings the total over the past 10 years to over a whopping £20,000!
