  • Sunnyside Spencer Academy awarded World Class Schools Quality Mark

    On 23rd of May 2023 Sunnyside Spencer Academy was accredited with the World Class Schools Quality Mark, joining a coveted network of just over 140 schools in the UK. The Quality Mark is awarded by education charity World Class Schools Quality Mark, whose unique assessment framework assesses the students, not the school, for their demonstration of World Class skills and competencies. The premise is that if the school is truly World Class, then its students should be able to demonstrate this in whatever context they find themselves.

  • Ashwood Spencer Academy pupils showcase their skills in ‘Ashwood’s got Talent’ competition

    Ashwood Spencer Academy celebrated Spencer Superstars by hosting “Ashwood’s Got Talent,” a competition which culminated in the top 14 acts performing for their families on Friday afternoon.

  • Fairfield Spencer Academy pupils lead Drumba session for Nottinghamshire Spencer Academies

    Roughly 20 students from six Spencer primary academies participated in an exciting Drumba music/workout session led by three of Fairfield’s pupil Drumba instructors.

    More than 20 students from Chetwynd Spencer Academy, Glenbrook Spencer Academy, Millside Spencer Academy, Portland Spencer Academy, Rosecliffe Spencer Academy and Sunnyside Spencer Academy came to Fairfield Spencer Academy to participate in a pupil-led Drumba session, which combines music and movement in an engaging exercise.

  • Beeston Community provides funding for Sunnyside Spencer Academy’s Year 6 Residential Trip

    Donations totalling £1,300 from the Zobel Charitable Trust and members of the community will enable Year 6 students to spend two nights at Hagg Farm.

    After a request from the school, Sunnyside Spencer Academy governors successfully engaged the local community to provide £1,300 to send Year 6 students on a traditional residential to Hagg farm.
